Run to the Cleft and Commune with the Savior

"There are some things in this life and on this planet that you will not be able to change. And all you can do is hold unto God in strength, hold unto God in power, and let His joy carry you through this."

          And I would speak a word to the Church in general. And I would give you this day even hope - hope for a brighter future; hope for a wonderful tomorrow; hope for an Eternity to come.

      Fear not, saith the Lord. There are some things that yes, you can change through prayer. There are some things that you can supplicate to the Lord and He will have compassion upon you: He will have mercy upon you; He will even turn to the Syrophoenician woman and give the bread of the House of Israel to the dogs!

      But there are also some things that cannot, shall not, and will not be changed. They are permanent; they are set by the Hand of God; they are historical facts that are going to happen. And this is where you run to the Cleft of the Rock; this is where you have a place to hide that others know not of. This is where you draw deep wells - deep water from the Lord.

      The Crucifixion could not be stopped. And those that were praying that this crucifixion happen not did not know how to pray; they prayed in error; they prayed amiss. For that Crucifixion must have been for the salvation of this world. And only those who really knew the true plan of God, such as Mary, could hide it in their hearts and sustain themselves through those horrible times, knowing that the perfect will of God was being accomplished and that great resurrection was coming, great power was coming, great glory was coming.

      So there are some things on this planet that you will not be able to stop no matter how hard you pray. Run to the Rock, run to the Cleft, dive deep into God, and into the love of God, and into the strength of God. And block out those things that cannot be changed and draw great sweetness from the Lord; draw deeply into the Breast of Christ and receive hope from Him, receive comfort from him, receive promise of a resurrection from Him.

      For there shall be a resurrection on these issues. There shall be the upside. There shall be the glorious return, saith the Lord, of things that have been seemingly pronounced as dead.

      So, your faith and your hope and your trust must go deeply into Him, especially in times of hardness, especially when situations swirl around you that you seemingly cannot handle or cannot change. Then go to the Rock, run to the Saviour, and go deeper and deeper and deeper into His love, and into His joy for you and allow these tornadoes and hurricanes to pass by, for that is all you can do in many circumstances.

      But bring your prayers, bring your supplications to the Lord. Lay yourself down before God and let your prayers come up and allow God to determine those things that shall be and shall not be. Always bring your petitions to the Lord; never stop calling upon the Lord.

      But remember this, that there are some things in this life and on this planet that you will not be able to change. And all you can do is hold unto God in strength, hold unto God in power, go deep into the Cleft of the Rock and commune with your Saviour and let His strength, let His joy carry you through this.

     For there is a place in God where you can be carried through the darkest torments and dungeons. Even Daniel standing at peace in the lions' den is proof of the power of God to keep you and set you at peace in difficult circumstances, life threatening circumstances.

      So run to the Rock. Run to the Cleft. Run to the One who can hide you and cover you and save you in the midst of terrible circumstances. And allow Him to feed you privately; allow Him to give you sustenance that others know not of.
