Lord,  

     There are many levels as to what is going on right now.  We see things from Earth's perspective and from our perspective as American citizens and You see things from Heaven and from eternal perspectives from the end time events that you are arranging.   

So Lord, I pray that the Church would line up with what it is that you are doing.  More than anything we need to be in sync with our Heavenly Father's will.  We do not need to be fighting against the will of the Father at this stage in history.  We pray that abundantly you would make that clear to the churches, Lord, what your will is concerning the discipline of rogue nations, the discipline of terrorist groups, the discipline of those who would disrupt world peace.  Father, we know that the events of the final stages of history are in your hands.  We submit to your will, Father.  We will not fight against you and the things that you have planned for the end time scenario.  

But as much as is possible, Father, we beseech you fervently to pour out your mercies upon America, for as much room as there is for grace and mercy I pray that it would flow like a river in this nation.  God, there are literally millions of people crying out to you, many repenting, many calling upon your name.   

It has been so for the last twenty and thirty years in this country.  There have been your people crying out for your mercy, for your grace upon America and we thank you, Father, that you have been so merciful to this nation.  This is the first event that we can remember where there was mass blood shed on this continent from a foreign power.  Thank you, God, for your hand that has been upon this country.  Other nations have experienced incredible terror and horror right within their own boundaries.  We so far have been spared most of it.   

     We thank you, Father, for your hand upon America.  I do pray for divine wisdom and guidance in the leadership of this nation.  God, direct them; God, put your hand on them. God, cause supernatural events to fall in line for George Bush.  We believe in our hearts he is the man for the hour; he is God's man in the White House and the team that you've given him is phenomenal with John Ashcroft and Colin Powell and Dick Chaney.  What a blessing, God, to have these men seated in power now when such trying times are upon us.  We have seasoned veterans in the White House.  We have men that have functioned under five administrations.  They are very, very well versed and have great depth in these matters.  Thank you that we have men of prayer, we have men of God, we have men of experience leading us right now in this crucial time - what a blessing.  I have great peace concerning our leadership.   

And Lord, I pray that you would put it upon the moderate Arab nations to turn against the revolutionary Islamic path of their party and separate themselves, God.  And Lord, I pray that you would bring swiftly to justice those who would murder innocent men, women and children on behalf of their faith.  Guard the men that go forth to apprehend these people.  Cover these strike teams, God, with your angelic presence.  We thank you, Lord, that the very angels that protected this nation, that were there when the Constitution was signed, those that helped draft the Constitution, the angelic force that you put within America will go forth in vengeance.  They are the avenging angels of the Lord and they protect this nation, they guard this nation.

     And God, I thank you for the vision that you gave me of the angels moving forth to go out and to literally take the vengeance of God to those that have touched this country.  We thank you, Father, that we have angelic host that are stationed here to protect us, and to guide us and to help govern us.  We do call upon Heaven this day, Lord.  We do call upon Heaven for your mercy and protection.   

God, you said that you delight in mercy, that you have even exalted mercy above your law.  You have said that you delight in mercy.  You delight in showing mercy, Father.  It is one of your chief delights to show mercy.  You said that you have exalted mercy above the Law.  And Father, it's no mistake that you put the Mercyseat above the Law in the Ark of the Covenant.  Mercy was to always be lifted above law.  You put the Mercyseat on top of the Law in the Ark of the Covenant, God.  It is your great desire to show mercy.  You are a merciful God.  Your mercies are new every morning.   

And God, I pray that you would put the cry for mercy in the hearts of the Americans, that they would be on their knees and that they would avail themselves of the Mercyseat of God.  That is where the blood is applied.  We have forgotten our biblical lessons that you delight in exalting mercy above the Law.  Yes, the Law has been broken, but mercy is greater than the Law, the blood is greater than the Law; the blood is greater than our sins in this nation.

     We confess our corporate sins before you, Father.  We ask for remission of the sin of America.  Cover the east coast cities, Lord.  Cover their sins, we pray, in the blood of Christ.  We bring this nation to the Mercyseat of God and ask that the blood of Christ that was shed for all of the nations be applied corporately to our national sin that you remit once again the sins of America.  Cover her, God.  We cry out as a covering for this nation to the one true God, to the only One who has the power to protect us and that is God Almighty.  And we do appeal to that Mercyseat and the blood of Christ that was shed for this nation and ask for remission of sin and ask for your judgments to go forth and correct those who would touch us, God – your mercy applied from one end of this country to the other, we pray, and we thank you for it, Lord.  Amen.
