Lord, we come with but one thing before You and that is the Blood of Jesus - to cover all of our sins as a people, as individuals, as a nation. We are not going to hold our righteousness which is as filthy rags before You and say, "Oh, what good boys we've been; look at all we've done."

     Father, keep us from the mistake that the Pharisees made that because they did a lot of temple duty and did a lot of things, that they thought that they had favor with You; they thought they had a special in because of things that they had done. Although you do reward good service that's not what it is about.

You pointed to the man, who was on his knees and wouldn't even lift his eyes to God and saying, "Forgive me." You said, "This man goes home justified." "This man does not."

     Lord, we don't come before You with boasting and bragging. Even if we've done a lot of good things we don't bring that up to You today. What we do bring up is our shortcomings, and we ask you to forgive us Lord as a Nation, as a People, and as individuals. We ask you to cover us in the Blood of Christ. We ask you wash away our national sins, in the Name of Jesus. Father, remit the sins of America.

Since when can't America be forgiven, Lord? Since when can't the sins of this Nation be covered? The only thing You said You would not forgive was rejection of the Son of God, blasphemy of the Holy Ghost!  Father, murder can be forgiven; adultery can be forgiven, drug abuse can be forgiven, homosexuality can be forgiven, lying, cheating, stealing can be forgiven.

     Lord, we ask for forgiveness for this Nation. We ask that you cover it in the Blood of Christ. Remit the wickedness that's in this Nation, Lord. Do not judge us according to our ways, but look to Your Son who died for this Nation. Jesus died for this nation; His blood was shed for this Nation. And we plead the Blood of Jesus from Washington to California; we plead it from Maine to Florida; we plead it from Texas to the Dakotas, God; cover this Nation from Hawaii, to the islands, to everything that belongs to America, Father. We ask now that it be covered in the Blood of Jesus, that it be washed in the Blood of Jesus, that remission would flow over this country like a tidal wave, God.

     Why not? What pleasure would you take in destroying us, Lord?  Father, let us redeem those who are lost; let us redeem those who've gone astray; let us pull from the fire even those brands that can be saved. Give us time in this Nation, oh Lord.

Turn our hearts to prayer. Turn our hearts to National repentance. Turn our hearts to pleading the Blood of Christ for our sins.

We can never be good enough; we can never make up for the wrong that's been done; we can only ask for remission for that which has been done. We can ask for forgiveness through the Blood of Christ. And we can pray for Your mercy; we can pray that you would raise up Holy Ghost anointed firebrand ministers to turn this nation around.

     God, raise up a generation of juggernauts- people who will not be turned but who will preach the truth in love and who will rely upon the Blood for their ministry.

Thank you, Lord, for all of Your benefits to this Nation; You've been extremely kind to us. Give us a heart, God, to serve You; give us a heart as a Nation to remember You. Those who have forgotten You, I pray You call to their remembrance the knowledge of God; you'd call to their remembrance from childhood the knowledge of God. Those in the cities, those in the country who've had encounters with God when they were little, I pray that You would call them back into remembrance, Lord - the desire to know and to serve God.

     "As long as there is breath in your body, as long as the Blood of Christ is effective, as long as there is a people who will turn to the Lord their God pleading the very sacrifice that I've ordained, humbling themselves before Me, as long as you desire that God would spare and move and cleanse your Nation, I will move, saith the Lord.

I am a God Who can be moved by the effectual fervent prayers of My people. If you do not abandon Me, I will not abandon you. If you will remember the Lord your God, if you will go to your altars of prayer, if you will seek remittance, if you will seek mercy for this Nation, I will respond, saith the Lord.

     Yes, there are certain things that are going to happen in this planet in this world and you cannot stop them. But there is also room for great grace, great mercy, great provision by the Hand of God in the midst of it, children. Do not forget your biblical lessons of those that were spared by intercession - those who would not let go of God, those who would cry unto the Lord.

     Remember Joshua and Caleb; remember those who were marked by the Spirit of God in the city of Jerusalem - the intercessors who would not let go of the coattails of God, and did say, "Oh, but You would bless me - that You would give to me that which I am after, Dear Lord, not for my own purposes, but for Your Kingdom and for Your sake."

Stay unto the coat of God, the coattail of God, no matter what happens around you. Put your blinders on, children, and stay in intercession, stay in prayer. Hear what the Holy Ghost is saying to your heart. Do not listen to what is floating around the Nation; do not allow that which is polluting the airways to come into your ears, your heart, your mind. But you come back to My Word, and you come back to Me, and you get in that closet of prayer.

     And do not be influenced by all the reports that you hear around you that your heart would faint, that you would not go forward. Come to Me and I'll give you fresh vision; I'll put in you what I want in you. And if I want hope in you, then that's My business; if I want courage in you, then that's My business; if I want joy in you, then that's My business, saith the Lord.

And while others are failing and falling and going behind, I will give you joy; I will give you hope; I will give you courage; I will give you provision. You do not have to go down with those around you, saith God. You can stand. You can have joy. You can have happiness. You can have the provision of God. Though ten fall at your right side and a thousand at your left, you will not fall, saith God.

    Look up to Me. I am the God of the individual and I still make individual covenants with individuals, as well as corporately and as well as with the whole continent. But I am still the God of the individual. I am still the God of the individual! I will still respond to a heart that cries unto Me.

Fear not, saith God. You are not corporately tied into judgment with everyone. You are not corporately tied into judgment with everyone. Yes, judgment will fall; it has always fallen since the beginning of the world. People have been picked out and judged, nations have been picked out and judged, races have been picked out and judged - for the evil and wicked things that they have done.

But there has always been the Hand of God coming down and protecting those within these groups, even though judgment was falling, and protecting them and giving them what they want because of their heart cry to Me, because of their repentance, because of their trusting in the Lord their God. So, fear not, this is an individual walk as well as a corporate one.

     Go back to the one on one closet time with God. Go back; go back, go back to Me and you, saith the Lord. Go back to Me and you. And if all the people around you will not respond, will not do what I ask, if you will then I will turn you into that Joshua and that Caleb. I will give you what you want.

I am not bound by corporate punishment to punish everyone in the group. I punish, I am just, I am fair, saith the Lord. I am the Judge of all things and I will show mercy and I will show special protection to those who trust in Me, and turn to Me, and commit their lives to Me and walk straight before Me and will not be turned from the pathway that I've given them. So, fear not. There is hope for you. There is hope, there is joy, there is happiness, there is provision by the Hand of God.

    Pray for your nation. Be like Daniel was, confessing your sins and the sins of your people. There's nothing wrong with confessing the sins of your people! Confess the sins of this Nation before Me; ask for repentance; ask for remission, saith the Lord.

That is why the Blood is there; that is why the High Priest and the altar has been in existence, that you may come before the Lord, that you may confess your sins - the sins of your people, the sins of your family, the sins of your Nation and call upon God for remittance; call upon God for forgiveness.

     The Blood is effective; the Blood is effective; the Blood is effective! You can ask for remission of sins. This is a powerful potent weapon in the church's arsenal that has lain dormant for so many seasons. But do not forget your ability to intercede and ask for the remission of sins: for yourself, for your families, for your Nation.

Be one of those who are marked by the Hand of God who cries for mercy. Do not be thirsting for the blood of everyone, but thirst after mercy, thirst after righteousness, thirst after goodness, saith the Lord. I will bless you; I will come down; I will show you favor, saith God, because you cry for those who are lost and undone. I will love you, saith the Lord; I will love you. I will show Myself strong on your behalf.

     For, I desire to show mercy; I desire to receive and redeem those who are in wickedness and have gone astray. I desire to bring them back. It is not My wish that they perish and be destroyed. There comes a point when indeed judgment must fall, but it is the last resort. It is the last choice.

I love those who cry for mercy. I love those who intercede. Come unto Me, come unto Me, come unto Me, come unto Me, come unto Me and renew that covenant of faith - that one on one walk. Find joy and strength in your Lord. I am driving, pulling the Christians into the closet of prayer, pulling them back to a one on one with Me.

    Come up, saith the Lord. Come up into My realm. Walk and talk and live with Me. Put your blinders on to everything around you, not that you're not aware, but put those blinders on and remember Me, saith the Lord. Remember Me. Remember My covenants; remember My mercy; remember My tender affections for those who closet themselves in with Me and find My heart and stay with it.

And indeed if you are foolish, then some of the greatest men in the Bible are foolish, for this is what they cried for - Moses, Daniel. Which side would you choose? If I rebuke you, if I tell you, "Get up off your knees and no longer pray for this issue, that is one thing. But if others tell you, do not listen. You pray until I tell you don't pray anymore. Who controls this thing? Who runs this thing anyway? Who is the Lord of it all?

     You receive your commands from Me, not others on this planet. Far better that I would come to you and say, "Son, stop praying; it is over. Go and anoint another king, then for you to throw your hands up and walk away and say, "I will no longer pray because it is hopeless." Let the decision be Mine, saith the Lord. Let Me absolve you of all guilt; let Me determine where the final line is. Let Me tell you, "Son, get off the floor; pray no longer for this person, for this issue, for this Nation." You are guiltless; you are found in the proper position, saith God.

Let Me find you there; let me honor you, saith the Lord. Let Me honor you. Let me find you on your face crying for that, which is almost irredeemable. Let Me say, "No." Let Me make the decision. This is pleasing to the heart of God.

For indeed, you are called to this ministry of intercession; it is a bit different. Let Me show you the boundaries of it. Let Me teach you. Let Me say when it's over.
