You
have known your time of communing; you have known your time of
prayer. You have learned to love the Shepherd with passion, with
gentleness, and with feeling to express your soul’s heart of love
unto your God. You have laid all else aside to pursue this purpose
of coming away with me even as the beloved Bride of Christ. You have
set all else aside to spend hours in prayer, in supplication before
the Throne of Grace.
And
so I am pleased; I have and do receive your prayer offerings and
gifts of love. But there is one more thing I would ask of you. Lay
not down your sword and yes that may seem strange, a strange thing
for me to ask of in this house of prayer, in this prayerful
atmosphere.
I do not love thee less if you are a man of war as well as a man of
worship. David, a son after my own heart, does still retain his
title of a king before me. Did I not say his throne would never end?
I have great love and affection for my son, David, and he receives
great honor around my throne and the courtyards of heaven, much more
honor and glory than is given upon the earth. For men would remember
his sins, yet I the Lord do remember his repentance and do forget
the things which are in the past, for the sins of the past are
remembered no longer, for he received his forgiveness in his
lifetime and in Heaven he does receive his reward.
Each mantle and each anointing does have its place and its role to
play in the things of God. Cut yourself not short, but wear each and
every piece of armor and clothing, which I have given unto you. Who
says you cannot carry a harp in one hand and a sword in the other? I
have created Angels, angelic beings which do worship and sing around
my throne and I have also created the Michaels - the Angels of war.
These are the ones who take charge, who protect my people and my
nations and my kings.
If you would know, it was Angels who hovered over my prophet and
statesman, Churchill in your century. He was a leader ordained by me
to rule over my people and to lead the forces of men against the
forces of evil, which had arisen. The battles are not always won in
houses of prayer alone, but also on the front lines of war. And yet
even Winston had his intercessors, for I did raise up Reese Howell
and anointed him with an incredible mantle of worship, and
intercession and prayer. The very prayers he prayed at times led the
enemy’s planes away from their intended targets.
That battle could not be won without the prayer, without the sword,
and without the Angels of the Lord. It takes all three to be mighty
and victorious. David would not go into battle unless he knew that
the Lord would go before him, and he went with much prayer and
worship, and he never went without his sword.
Lay not down
your sword. Lay not down your sword. Cut not yourself short. But
rise up to be the people of God I have created and destined you to
be in all of the fullness and in all of the power and in all of the
majesty of your Lord. Come and see the power. Come and feel the fear
of the Lord, as well as my presence of mercy and love.
Lift up your eyes and see into the heart of God all that he has
prepared for you to do and to become. Do you not know you are
mapping out the pathway for your own little ones to walk upon and to
follow? Train the young ones to be good soldiers of the cross, yes,
but also as soldiers of flag and family and home. Raise up patriots
again unto me.
So many across this land do stand in the pulpits and ridicule this
nation which Washington and Jefferson dedicated by my hand unto Me.
Let it not fall into ruins, but raise up the godly leaders and
statesmen. Raise up the songwriters and the poets. Birth within the
heart of the youth love of God and love of country and home. They
must protect the faith of their fathers. They must instinctively
show honor to their flag. Do you not think that David and his people
honored the flag of Israel? Honor the flag of God but also honor the
flag of a country birthed by God.
So many young
ones speak disdainfully of leaders in their cities of leadership as
in the Houses of God as well. Give the youth their heroes. Give them
patterns to follow after. Call forth the Peters and the Pauls of the
church, but also the Pauls and the Patricks of the Sons of Liberty
as well. Both are needed. Both are needed. You need the harp and the
sword to survive in this land and to continue to do well and
prosper.
Take not down the battlements and the walls of protection, in the
spirit realm or in the natural. The great battles, which have been
fought, and ones which are remembered, are the ones which were
fought and won on the battlefields of men. And yes, the great
victories of those ordained by God did have many multitudes behind
close doors and at chapels praying. Both are needed. Both are
needed. Both are needed.
Continue to
raise your voice. Continue to shout. Stay on your toes. Keep awake
and listening. Pray yes, pray without ceasing, but pray and listen.
Pray and listen for the will and the instructions of the Father;
pray and listen to the prompting and the warnings of the Spirit;
pray and obey, pray and obey, pray and obey my Spirit when he would
lead you and prompt you in all aspects of your spiritual and natural
life as well.
Continue to be voices crying out speaking the wisdom and the truth.
Come forward and speak the pearls of wisdom the Lord would put into
your mouth. Come, live the life of a David, one who does pray and
worship, one who lifts up the scepter and the crown, but one who
also rules with a sword at his side ever ready, ever willing to pick
up the sword and the shield in defense for God, country and home.
